Book Fair is coming to HES Oct. 14-18! Parents are welcome to come "shop" with their child during their weekly library time. Teachers will send home their specific class day and time soon. Volunteer helpers are needed, so please contact adempsey@ccobe.org if you're interested.

Special thanks to Ms. Della with Cullman County's Auburn Extension Education Office for teaching us the best methods for keeping our hands germ free through proper hand washing and proper use of hand sanitizer. Seeing the evidence of our experiments using the black light was super cool!

YES!!! 5th graders love to have fun!! Monday was National Teddy Bear Day and they celebrated by practicing descriptive writing using their own Teddy Bear. š§ø

Tips for posters:
- Be sure the theme "Our Community Counts on Farmers" is on the poster
- Use bright, bold colors
- Utilize the entire poster area (leave little blank space)
- BE CREATIVE!
