Thank you to Coach Williamson, Coach Rilee, and our middle school softball team for living our vision of servant leadership today at Westminster Assisted Living. They played games and talked with their residents.

Please join us in congratulating Memphis McGee. He is being recognized for his outstanding character for the 3rd 9 Weeks. This is what was said of Memphis: He is always encouraging to others. No matter what he is doing or working on, even if he doesn't do well, he compliments other people. He will brag on their efforts every single time. He is always helpful and smiling. He is willing to lend a helping hand and bring a smile to someone who is struggling. I have never met a student this young who is more about others winning than himself. He is selfless! It comes as natural as breathing for him. He doesn't even have to think about it. He readily gives praise to others without thinking. Every single time in my class, if someone tries, he brags on them.

Please join us in congratulating Abby Warden. She is being recognized for her outstanding character in the 3rd 9 weeks. This is what was said of Abby: This student went above and beyond when a student shared something difficult to share. This student made a point to say I just want you to know that I care about you and I am here if you need anything. I also witnessed this student helping another student who was having a bad day. She is constantly there for others and encouraging them. She seeks out kids that others turn away from. It is evident to see her kindness daily.

Please join us in congratulating Winter Hall. Winter is being recognized for her outstanding character in the 3rd 9 Weeks. This is what was said of Winter: Winter comes to school every day with a smile on her face and ready to serve. She asks me many times throughout the school day if there is anything that I need help with without being prompted. From day one of school this year, I knew that she would be a great help to our class. She never needs to be told to help someone. She is always on the lookout for a need, and is willing to step in and help! Winter is always polite to her teachers and kind to her classmates. She also never asks for anything in return. She does these things out of the joy in her heart and I am so blessed she is in my class!
