These are our students and the VIPs that worked with them this year.  This was their end of the year celebration for the extra work they have done all year with the volunteers.  The volunteers are: Reginna Roat - VIPS coordinator, Leighann Courington, and Margaret Payne, VIPS Volunteer.  Thanks to the volunteers who spend their time working with our students.  It is much appreciated!

VIP 2014-2015

We are proud of Ashley, who was awarded an honorable mention in the Alabama Farm-City poster Contest.  The theme was "Agriculture: 365 Sunrises and 7 Billion Mouths to Feed."  Her picture will appear in the 2016 Alabama Farm-City calendar.  Congratulations Ashley!

We are working on a sound station on the playground.  Keep your ears open for new sounds!  We would like to add something like this.  Any old items at home you could contribute?

Monthly PTO meetings are scheduled for the
2nd MONDAY of each month at 5 pm in the library.   The next meeting is April 14th in the library.

Please join us in supporting our children, teachers and school. EVERYONE is invited to participate in all PTO supported events. We need and appreciate all our parent/guardian volunteers and look forward to another great year!
Our goal this year is to help raise funding for new stage curtains for our gym. They are extremely expensive and we will need as much help as we can get!

THE MISSION of Hanceville Elementary School is to Help Everyone Succeed.

OUR VISION is to help everyone succeed while creating a safe, positive learning environment which inspires and enables all students to reach their maximum potential as responsible citizens and lifelong learners

We collect a number of items for school and charity.  Please check below, clip and send to school to help us get free products and raise money for our school and charities
.

We collect Box Tops for Education to earn money for our school.  See the Announcements page for more information.

We collect can tabs for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Ronald McDonald houses provide housing for families with children that are patients in hospitals around the world.

We collect Coke Rewards to get free products for our school.  You can set up your own account and enter codes, then donate them to Hanceville Elementary.  We earned enough points to get a first aid kit and whistles for our emergency backpacks that each teacher has.  We will get more supplies as we get more points.  Thanks!
